Alder Creek’s mission is to build a strong paddling community by providing quality instruction, tours and the best equipment available. We are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural world around us through conservation efforts, event sponsorship, and water trail development.
Portland State University Crew
PSU Crew is a student-run, rowing club with men’s and women’s teams that participate in regattas in the Pacific Northwest.
The mission of Portland Women’s Rowing is to promote competitive masters women’s rowing in the Portland metro area, in an atmosphere of integrity, camaraderie, and respect for our fellow athletes and the greater rowing community. Our objective is to produce the fastest masters women's crews possible, under the direction of the best coaching available. Our goal is to encourage experienced master’s women rowers to achieve excellence in the sport and to support the local rowing community.
Rose City Rowing Club draws high school students from throughout the Portland metropolitan area, uniting kids from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Rose City’s mission is to encourage and empower young adults to become capable and confident people within the framework of a nationally competitive, team-oriented rowing program.
Station L is a non-profit educational organization offering recreational and competitive rowing opportunities to people of all ages and abilities in the Portland metro area. The purpose of the club is to promote physical fitness by facilitating local collegiate sweep rowing and by offering adult sweep rowing classes.
UP Crew is a student-run, rowing club with men’s and women’s teams that participate in regional and national regattas.
The Wasabi Paddling Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the participation in, and promotion of the national and international amateur sports of Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe racing. The Wasabi charter also includes assisting other paddlers in the community to develop into strong, competitive teams through sponsoring and coaching.
Willamette Riverkeeper works to protect and restore the Willamette River's water quality and habitat by utilizing on-river education and experience, volunteer monitoring and action, and technical and policy expertise to protect the long-term health of the Willamette River.
